Houston Area Community Music Association

The Houston Area Community Music Association (HACMA) is an all-volunteer organization that promotes community music to the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area. The organization's Board of Directors is made up of volunteer musicians and directors of some of the Houston area Community Bands.

HACMA was formed in April 2006 with the belief that the volunteer music ensembles in the Houston area should work together to promote each other's concerts, organize events and conventions, and provide opportunities for other community bands to perform in, and to help the community recognize the value of community bands to our society.
